About Me

I joined the Jai Vakeel Foundation in 2011 when I was 11 years old, after beginning my journey in a mainstream school. At JVF, I found the right environment to learn, grow, and build my confidence. With steady progress, I cleared my NIOS 5th Standard and went on to complete a two-year internship, which led to full-time employment — a milestone I’m very proud of.

I am hardworking, eager to learn, and deeply committed to my job at KBS Group. My dream is to become a successful professional and one day run my own business.

Beyond work, sports have always been my passion. I love running, outdoor games, and physical activities that keep me energetic, disciplined, and motivated.

Meet Dakshay Rane – Running with Determination and Heart!

By participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, I’m living my sports dream once again. For me, this marathon is not just about running — it’s about testing my stamina, staying true to my sporting spirit, and giving back to the Foundation that helped me find my path.

I’m running to raise funds for the Jai Vakeel Foundation, the place that has shaped my journey from a young student to a confident, independent working professional. JVF gave me the right guidance, training, and encouragement to believe in myself and achieve milestones I once thought were out of reach.

By fundraising through this marathon, I want to give back to the institution that supported me every step of the way and help more students with intellectual disability get the same life-changing opportunities.

For me, every kilometre I run is a tribute to JVF’s mission — empowering individuals to reach their full potential and live with dignity and purpose.
