About Me

My name is Naavya Garg, and I’m a Grade 11 IBDP student with dreams of pursuing engineering in the future. Outside of academics, I love to run, it’s where I find focus and an escape from daily life.
My motivation to support Jai Vakeel comes from a personal place. I have a close friend with Down Syndrome, and knowing her has changed the way I see the world. She is one of the smartest and most perceptive people I know, with heightened senses and abilities that amaze me. Yet, she hasn’t always been given the same opportunities as others. That unfairness has stayed with me, and it has inspired me to do something to change it.
I believe children with intellectual disabilities deserve the same love, respect, and opportunities that every child deserves. Supporting Jai Vakeel is my way of helping build a world where their strengths are recognized, their potential is nurtured, and they are celebrated for who they are.

Appeal

Every child deserves the chance to dream, to learn, and to belong. But for children with intellectual disabilities, that chance doesn’t come easily. Too often, they are left unseen, unheard, and underestimated.

Jai Vakeel stands for changing that reality. They believe that every child, no matter their challenges, has potential waiting to shine through. Their work is about dignity, inclusion, and hope; giving children not just an education, but the chance to live fuller, more meaningful lives.

I resonate deeply with their mission because I believe no child should be defined by their disability. I’ve seen how love, patience, and the right support can transform lives, and I want to be part of that transformation.
