For over a decade, my career has been driven by a single, urgent conviction: quality education is the most powerful lever to lift a family out of poverty.
This belief has been the throughline of my journey, beginning on the ground as a Gandhi Fellow in 2011 and evolving through roles in advocacy, policy, and strategic communication—all within the education sector. With a Master's degree in Social Work, I have seen firsthand that effective communication is not just about sharing stories; it's about mobilising action and building the coalitions necessary for systemic change.
Today, as the Communication Manager at Sterlite EdIndia Foundation, I am at the heart of an organisation that is bringing this belief to life.
The work we do—from empowering teachers with purpose to building data-led governance and activating community leadership—is not just commendable; it is critical. But potential alone is not enough.
