About Me
My name is Mohammed Mudassir, and I dream of one day wearing the Indian Rugby jersey and making my country proud.
I study in Std. 9 at Pereirawadi Municipal School, run in partnership with Aseema and MCGM. At home, it’s just the three of us—my mother, who is a teacher, my elder brother, and me.
It was through Aseema that I first discovered rugby, and the game has completely shaped who I am. Rugby has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of never giving up—lessons I carry both on and off the field.
This year, I am also running the TMM 2026 to support Aseema’s fundraiser. Just like rugby, training for the marathon pushes me to test my limits and reminds me that determination can take you far.
Beyond sports, I enjoy cooking and hope to take formal classes one day. My favourite subject is English, and I love the way Aseema balances both academics and play, helping me grow into a stronger, more confident version of myself.
With your support, I know I can chase my dream—on the rugby field, at the marathon, and in life.
Appeal
This year, I have a special opportunity: to participate in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026. For me, this is more than just running a race. It is about seeing a new world, being inspired by the people I meet, and carrying that inspiration back with me to chase my dreams.
Aseema is giving children like me a platform to not only study but also build courage, skills, and aspirations for the future. With over 3,500 children learning across Aseema’s schools in Mumbai and Igatpuri, every bit of support helps provide quality education, nutritious meals, caring teachers, and safe learning spaces.
By supporting my campaign, you will:
- Help me experience the marathon — a once-in-a-lifetime chance to run with confidence and pride.
- Support the education and holistic growth for my friends at Aseema.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Every step I take in the marathon will be powered by your belief in me and in all Aseema children.
