Hi! I’m Delaara Amaria, an 11th grader at Hill Spring International School, pursuing the IB Diploma Programme. I’m passionate about making a difference and believe that small actions can create big change.

I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for the Jai Vakeel Foundation and Research Centre, which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Foundation provides education, healthcare, therapy, and vocational training, empowering children and adults to live with dignity and independence.

Hello! My name is Delaara Amaria, and I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for the Jai Vakeel Foundation and Research Centre — an incredible organization that has been transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) for over 80 years.

The Jai Vakeel Foundation works tirelessly to provide education, healthcare, therapy, and vocational training to children and adults with IDD, empowering them to live with dignity and independence. They don’t just support the children — they support entire families, creating an environment of acceptance, awareness, and opportunity.

I chose to support this cause because I believe that every individual deserves the right to learn, grow, and be included in society, regardless of their challenges. The Foundation’s compassion, dedication, and impact truly inspire me.

Through my marathon run, I hope to raise both funds and awareness for their life-changing work. Every donation, no matter how small, will directly contribute to better facilities, therapies, and brighter futures for these children.
