About Me

For the past 28 years, I have had the privilege of working with children in the field of education, and nothing gives me greater joy than watching them chase their dreams and create meaningful change. I remain committed to ensuring that the children from Aseema Charitable Trust continue to receive the holistic development and high-quality education they deserve.

Running for this fundraiser is my way of bringing together my personal and professional purpose—to ensure that every child has the chance to rewrite their own future and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world.

I am proud to support our student Annu Yadav, and here is her note in her own words:

“Hello everyone. My name is Annu Yadav, and I am studying in Std. 9 at Kherwadi Mumbai Public School. I have been with Aseema since pre-primary. I love playing judo and rugby, and my dream is to become a teacher. After becoming a teacher, I would like to share my journey with my students.

There are many things I love about Aseema. It not only provides us with our basic needs but also teaches us the values of respect, gratitude, courage, and how to live life meaningfully. Through Aseema, I’ve also had exposure to international games and sports, for which I’m very thankful. I have won many medals and certificates and have also participated in Khelo India.

I admire my family deeply—my father works as a carpenter, and my mother is a homemaker. Their support inspires me to work hard and pursue my dreams.

Appeal

I am fundraising for Aseema through the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 — not only to support the education of over 3,500 children AND to give one child the opportunity to be part of this incredible event.

Every day, Aseema opens doors for children from marginalised communities — safe classrooms, caring teachers, nutritious meals, and the chance to dream bigger. But empowerment goes beyond academics. For a child, the chance to participate in the marathon is a life-changing experience. It’s about building confidence, discovering strength, and realising they belong on every platform where dreams are celebrated.

By contributing to this campaign, you will:
