About Me

Hi! I’m Sakshi, a 20-year-old student currently in my second year of B.Com and also pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (Intermediate) course.
I come from a humble background, but I’ve always believed that hard work and education can change not just my life but also the lives of others. That’s why, alongside my studies, I teach children for free — first in my own locality, and now through Padhao India NGO, where I continue to tutor children online.

Appeal

The Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) has been my backbone. USF supports young women from less-privileged backgrounds with scholarships, mentoring, and personality development, helping us not only complete our education but also grow into confident, independent contributors to society. With the guidance of my mentor Manisha Sangani and this fellowship, I am able to focus on my Chartered Accountancy journey while giving back through teaching.
This year, through the Tata Mumbai Marathon, I’m raising funds for Udayan Care, so that many more girls like me can get the education, mentorship, and confidence to chase their dreams.
