About Me

Samir’s dream is to become a police officer and wear a uniform one day!

Samir, who began his journey at Aseema Bal Shaikshanik Kendra (ABSK) in Balwadi and is now in Std. 9, has grown up with Aseema as an integral part of his life. Coming from a family with three siblings—one sister and two brothers—Samir’s father works as a laborer at a factory, and his mother is a housekeeper in a hotel. Even at a young age, he loves studying and dreams of serving his community.

Now, Samir has the chance to visit Mumbai and participate in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025. Your support can help him chase his dream, continue his education, and inspire his friends at Aseema to dream big too!

Appeal

This year, I have a special opportunity: to participate in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026. For me, this is more than just running a race. It is about seeing a new world, being inspired by the people I meet, and carrying that inspiration back with me to chase my dreams.

Aseema is giving children like me a platform to not only study but also build courage, skills, and aspirations for the future. With over 3,500 children learning across Aseema’s schools in Mumbai and Igatpuri, every bit of support helps provide quality education, nutritious meals, caring teachers, and safe learning spaces.
