About Me

My name is Aarav Chokhani, and I am in Grade 11 at Ascend International School, Mumbai. I am an avid sportsperson, and this year, I am running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for Akshaya Chaitanya, as part of my social initiative FEED (Food Equity and Empowerment Drive). This July, I took a decisive step against child hunger by founding FEED. My mission is simple but critical: to increase access to food and nutrition for children from underserved communities in India.

Appeal

FEED is proud to support Akshaya Chaitanya, an organisation dedicated to addressing hunger among vulnerable communities, by providing nutritious meals to underprivileged children and patients in government hospitals. Akshay Chaitanya currently distributes one lakh wholesome meals to nursery school children, students in grades 9 and 10, and patients in government hospitals. This cause deeply resonates with me as I believe that child hunger is one of the most pressing issues of our time. When children are hungry, their ability to learn, focus, and thrive is severely impacted. I hope to raise funds to further strengthen Akshaya Chaitanya’s mission and contribute towards the establishment of their new kitchen facility, which will play a vital role in preparing and distributing these life-changing meals.
