About Me

Hello, I am Bhagyashree Nighot, holding a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work. I am working with MOHAN Foundation as a Transplant Coordinator and Grief Counsellor, with my area of work based at GMCH, Nagpur.
I am dedicated to supporting patients and their families through compassionate counselling while also promoting organ donation awareness. Along with my counselling role, I conduct awareness sessions within GMCH and in the community to encourage people to understand and actively engage in health initiatives. Through my work, I aim to amplify the crucial message of organ donation and help save lives.
I strongly believe that through awareness, empathy, and collaboration, we can build a culture of compassion and significantly improve health outcomes in society.

Appeal

I support Anudaan – Making Transplants Affordable, a vital initiative by MOHAN Foundation that helps underprivileged patients, especially children, access life-saving organ transplants. For many families, the high cost of surgery stands as the only barrier between them and survival.
As a Transplant Coordinator and Grief Counsellor with MOHAN Foundation at GMCH, Nagpur, I have witnessed firsthand the struggles families face when they cannot afford a transplant.
Through Anudaan, over 100 patients have already received kidney, liver, heart, and corneal transplants, but many more are still waiting for a chance at life. Your support can break these financial barriers, restore hope, and give patients the future they deserve.
