About Me

For over 30 years, I worked as an architect and spent more than two decades teaching in the field of architecture. Along the way, I realised that my true calling lay in creating social impact and giving back to the community.

That’s what led me to transition into the social development sector. Today, I serve as the Assistant Director (Donor Relations) at Aseema Charitable Trust, where I build partnerships that make it possible for children from marginalised communities to receive the high-quality education they deserve.

Running this fundraiser is my way of bringing together my personal journey and my professional purpose — to ensure that every child has the chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

In a world full of uncertainty, Aseema Charitable Trust stands firm in its mission to provide high-quality, value-based education to children from marginalised communities.

At Aseema, we believe that every child, no matter where they come from, deserves access to high-quality, value-based education. For over two decades, we have been working with children from some of the most marginalised communities, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.

In partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), Aseema manages three municipal schools in Mumbai, runs 12 Balwadis (pre-primary schools) for early childhood education, and has also established a vibrant Education Centre for Tribal Children in Igatpuri, Nashik. Through these initiatives, Aseema currently reaches out to more than 3,600 children living in vulnerable urban slums and tribal communities.

But with a significant portion of our support coming from CSR partnerships, our work is always vulnerable to sudden funding gaps — especially if a major donor steps back.

-Commit to the ongoing delivery of quality learning resources to empower the children of Aseema on their educational journey.
-Help us plan better, grow steadily, and continue reaching more children.
- Ensure no disruption in children’s education due to donor exit
-Sustain teacher salaries, meals, learning materials & infrastructure
-Give Aseema long-term financial resilience & autonomy
