About Me
Hi, I am Ganesh Kadam, a Cancer Survivor. I am an employee at GJK Foundation working as a medical social worker who connect with platelet donors to motivate them to donate platelets which is helpful for cancer patients in fighting the battle of cancer. Seeing a survivor helping other patients itself is a motivation.
Today through GJK Foundation we are raising donations for creating cancer awareness to women through talks and screening programs for them in the urban slums of Mumbai.

Appeal for Cancer Treatment & Women’s Cancer Awareness in Mumbai’s Slums
Dear Friend,
Every year, thousands of women in Mumbai’s underserved urban slums silently battle the fear of cancer. Many of them have never heard of breast or oral cancer, let alone gone for a screening. By the time they reach hospitals, it is often too late. Early detection can save lives, yet lack of awareness, poverty, and stigma stand in the way.
At Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation (GJK Foundation), we work tirelessly to change this. Through our Women’s Cancer Awareness & Screening Program, we aim to:
Educate women on the importance of early detection of breast and oral cancers.
Provide free clinical breast examinations and oral cancer screenings in slum communities.
Refer suspected cases for timely diagnostics
But we cannot do this alone.
Your contribution can help us reach 5000 plus women this year with awareness talks and screenings, and provide treatment support to underprivileged cancer patients who otherwise cannot afford care
