About Me

My name is Siddesh Nayak, and I wear a few different hats that all tie back to a single purpose – creating impact and spreading smiles. Professionally, I work as the Marketing Manager at Alpha MD & HEED India, where I combine creativity with strategy to build campaigns that inspire and connect.

Beyond the weekdays, my true passion shines. As the Founder of Blinds Who Trek, I dedicate my weekends to organizing treks with visually impaired individuals – proving that adventure has no limits when lived with courage and companionship.

I often say I was born for philanthropy, and I truly believe in it. Whether it’s through my work in marketing or through my social initiatives, my mission is simple: to empower, include, and uplift.

Appeal

This year, I am proud to run the Tata Mumbai Marathon in support of HEED India – an organization I have personally worked with and witnessed making a real impact for over a decade.

For the past 10+ years, HEED India has been working at the grassroots level, providing professional sports coaching to children in BMC schools. They believe every child, regardless of background, deserves access to sports, fitness, and the opportunities that come with it. I’ve seen their dedication firsthand, and it continues to inspire me.

But what excites me most this year is their bold initiative "Mission for Inclusion". While inclusivity is often spoken about, very few truly act on it. HEED India is leading the way by supporting blind runners to participate and successfully complete the full marathon, half marathon, and 10K race. This is more than just running; it’s about breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and proving that with the right support, no dream is out of reach.

By supporting my run, you are not just cheering for me – you are helping create an inclusive sporting community, empowering children, and giving differently-abled athletes a chance to shine.
