About Me
My Introduction
Education has always been close to my heart. While many of us take schooling for granted, thousands of children in Mumbai spend their days working to support their families and can only study at night. Despite exhaustion, they choose education—because it is their only hope for dignity, progress, and a better future.
I am supporting Masoom NGO through the Tata Mumbai Marathon because their mission deeply inspires me. Masoom transforms night schools into centers of opportunity by providing teacher training, digital learning resources, nutritious meals, career counseling, and safe classrooms. Over 84,000 school droup out students have already been impacted, and many have gone on to pass board exams, pursue higher studies, or secure meaningful jobs.
Running for Masoom is my way of standing with these students—so that no child has to choose between earning and learning. With your support, together we can open the doors of opportunity for many more children.
Appeal
When Mumbai Sleeps, Dreams Come Alive in Night Schools
As the city winds down, another journey begins. After long, tiring hours at work, the children of daily-wage laborers, domestic helpers, and small vendors walk into night schools. Exhausted yet hopeful, they enter classrooms because education, for them, is more than just lessons—it is dignity, opportunity, and the promise of a better future.
At Masoom, we are committed to nurturing these dreams by transforming night schools into centers of opportunity through:
1) Teacher training to inspire and connect with students
2) Digital learning resources for interactive classrooms
3) Nutritious meals so no child studies on an empty stomach
4) Career guidance & counseling for higher studies and jobs
5) Improved infrastructure to create safe, welcoming schools
Over the years, Masoom has partnered with 85+ night schools, reaching 17,000+ students. Many have passed their 10th and 12th Board exams, enrolled in college, and secured meaningful jobs—breaking cycles of hardship and building brighter futures for their families.
Yet, thousands more are still waiting for this chance.
This year, as part of the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), I am running to raise funds so that more students can access education and a pathway to success.
Every contribution, big or small, fuels a child’s journey of hope. Together, let’s ensure no child has to choose between earning and learning.
Support Masoom. Support Night Schools. Support Futures.
