About Me

My name is Sameena Mehboob Bilgi, and my professional life has been dedicated to a single, powerful mission: guiding individuals through their cancer journey with knowledge and hope.

As a counseling psychologist and certified patient navigator, I have spent over a decade with the Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation, where I head the Patient Guidance Program.

Every day, I witness the courage of patients as they fight cancer—not just through treatment, but also in their journey back to life and society. Seeing the challenges that cancer patients face has made me deeply sensitive to their needs and strengthened my resolve to save lives.

The foundation has given me a platform to support individuals during treatment and their entire cancer trajectory.

I value life and health—not just for myself, but for everyone I have the privilege to help.

Appeal

This year, I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for cancer patients. At the Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation, I have the privilege of supporting patients—during treatment, but also in rebuilding their strength and confidence as they return to life and society.
