I am Sushila Shastri, Senior Director at Masoom. I have been working in the social sector for the past 34 years, and for the last five years, I have been proudly raising funds through the Tata Mumbai Marathon in support of Masoom.

Masoom works tirelessly to transform the lives of thousands of night school students by ensuring they get access to quality education, opportunities, and a brighter future. Every step I take in the Marathon is dedicated to empowering these young learners.

This year again, I am running with the same passion and commitment—and I invite you to join hands with me in this journey. Your contribution will directly support Masoom’s mission of making education accessible, impactful, and life-changing for children who need it the most.

I am Supporting Massom, as this is very close to my heart .
When the world sleeps, dreams awaken in Mumbai’s night schools.

Every evening, children of daily-wage workers, domestic helpers, and small vendors step into classrooms after long hours of work. They come tired, but determined. For them, education is not just learning—it is hope, dignity, and a pathway out of poverty.

At Masoom, we are committed to transforming night schools into spaces where these dreams can grow. We provide quality education through teacher training, digital learning, nutrition, and career guidance. We improve school infrastructure, support girl students, and prepare youth for higher studies and meaningful employment.

So far, we have supported 85+ night schools and reached 17,000+ students, helping many clear their 10th and 12th Board exams and pursue brighter futures.

But thousands more are waiting. This year, through the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), we are raising funds to reach more students and strengthen more schools.
