Running with Purpose – Join Me in Making a Difference
Hi, I’m Pranay Patel—a banker by profession and a passionate runner at heart. Over the past few years, I’ve embraced fitness through running and gym workouts, participating in several 10K and 21K marathons. But this year, my run carries a deeper meaning.

On 18th January 2026, I’ll be lacing up once again for the Tata Mumbai Marathon, not just for the finish line—but for a cause close to my heart. I’m running to support CanKids KidsCan, an incredible organization that helps children battling cancer across India.

These brave young fighters deserve every ounce of support we can offer. And together, we can make a difference. I invite you to contribute—even the amount you'd spend on one family dinner could go a long way in bringing hope and healing to these children.

Did you know that if a child has cancer in the USA, their chances of survival are 80 to 90%. But in India, it is 35%. But it doesn't have to be that way. Founded in 2004 by Poonam Bagai, herself a cancer survivor, CanKidsKidsCan - The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer In India aims to change that. Creating real and visible impact CanKids has driven access to care for kids with cancer from 29% to 53% by 2025, with a goal of 100% access, 100% financial protection, and 60% survival by 2030.

CanKids partners with hospitals, medical professionals, and state governments to move India towards 100% access2care & higher survival rates for children with cancer. They enable best standards of treatment, care and support across 141 partner centers in 53 cities and 22 states of India. Catering to primarily underprivileged families, CanKids serves the underserved, ensuring avoidance of financial hardship.

Your donation goes towards medical treatment, blood work, nutrition, counseling, education of a child with cancer. Together we can bring light into dark and shine the way for more children with cancer to #surviveandthrive.
