About Me
I am Nikhil A Jacob, Program Manager at the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS). I contribute to critical programs that foster human-wildlife coexistence, safeguard livelihoods, and impart life-saving information to communities and forest department staff who live and work near protected areas. My work revolves around empowering these groups with tools and knowledge to ensure both biodiversity conservation and human well-being. Supporting CWS is an extension of my passion for sustainable solutions that benefit both people and nature.

The Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is a 40-year-old organization dedicated to conserving India’s wildlife and wild places. Through research, education, and community programs, CWS strives to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts, protect biodiversity, and empower local communities and forest staff with essential resources and knowledge.
I am passionate about protecting India’s wildlife and biodiversity. CWS’s efforts in conservation, research, and community engagement align with my vision of a sustainable future where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.
