The Livelihood Training Programme, a key initiative of Project Jagruti, has been transforming lives since 2009 by empowering women and unemployed youth in rural communities. Jagruti Livelihood and skill development Centers serve as vital hubs for vocational skills training, enabling participants to achieve financial independence and build sustainable livelihoods.

Through a diverse range of courses, including sewing, beauty care, computer skills, and more, we equip individuals with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in today's job market. Our program not only enhances employability but also fosters entrepreneurship, allowing trainees to start their own businesses and contribute to their local economies.

We are excited to participate in this year’s Tata Mumbai Marathon, and we need your help to make a difference! Our goal is to raise ? 2,00,000 to support the Livelihood Training Programme under Project Jagruti, which empowers women and unemployed youth in rural areas by providing them with essential vocational skills.

Since 2009, our Jeevan Asha Community Centers have been a beacon of hope, offering a variety of skill development courses that lead to financial independence. Through our Livelihood & Skill Development Training Programme, we have enrolled over 19,000 students, with 8,386 securing employment after completing their training.

Expand Vocational Training: Your donations will allow us to increase the number of courses offered, including sewing, beautician skills, computer training, and more, providing even more individuals with the opportunity to learn valuable skills.

* Provide Resources and Start-up Kits: We ensure that trainees receive the necessary tools and kits to kickstart their careers, whether it’s in tailoring, beauty, mobile repairing, or jewelry making.

1) Sewing & Tailoring: Comprehensive courses from 3 to 6 months to equip trainees with the skills to create and market garments.
2) Beautician Courses: Training in modern techniques, complete with start-up kits and entrepreneurship guidance.
3) Computer Training: Courses in IT skills that open up various career opportunities in today’s digital world.
4) Agriculture and Mobile Repairing: Practical courses that meet the growing demands in these sectors.
5) Jewelry Making: A short course that allows trainees to learn and earn by showcasing their creations at events.
