About Me

Hi, I am Aarati and I have been associated with Mumbai Mobile Creches (MMC) as Finance Manager for more than 7 years.

Reason to support MMC
Since 1972, MMC has been a beacon of hope, transforming construction sites into safe havens of learning, laughter, and love for the children of migrant construction workers.

With every creche on-site, they provide not just a space to play, but a place to grow. Here, children receive nutritious meals, healthcare, and early education. But more importantly, they receive — the right to be safe, to be seen, to be cared for.

Through their work, MMC not only uplifts children but empowers communities, trains women, and strengthens families. They remind us that even in the most transient of lives, stability can be created — one child, one smile, one mobile creche at a time.

Appeal

Being associated with Mumbai Mobile Creches, I have witnessed the difficulties faced by the children of migrant workers and other marginalised communities living in challenging conditions. MMCs goal is more critical now than ever to offer a secure, nurturing, and educational environment for these vulnerable children. MMCs vision is a nurturing and happy childhood for all children and its mission is to promote child friendly sites, where all children on construction sites are safe, healthy educated and able to enjoy their childhood regardless of their circumstances.

Your donations will directly support MMCs comprehensive day care programmes, reaching over 1,300 children each month across 18 construction sites, 6 brick kilns, 2 stone quarries and 2 slums in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Your generosity will provide hope for a brighter future for these vulnerable children. Together, we can make a difference as these children too deserve a chance at a safe and happy childhood.
