| Beneficiary Description | Direct beneficaries: Over 3900 children in the age group of birth to 14 years. Indirect beneficairies : Over 5000 community members (workers and families living on constrcution sites, brick kiln, slums and stone quarry sites) | ||||||
| Impact | In FY 2024-2025 we reached over 3900 children and, on an average, catered to 1700 children every month, through our Comprehensive Day Care programme on construction site, brick kiln, slums and stone quarry sites. Education Programme: Over 1600 children benefited through Phirti & Toy Library, Read aloud and in Mujhe Padhkar Sunao Programme over 315 children (birth to 3 years) and their parents were engaged. Over 500 children (6 to 14 years) benefitted through Beyond Academics Initiatives - Tablet Based learning, Chess training, Abacus and Life Skill Education. Health & Nutrition Programme: Children received daily supplementary nutrition of 700–750 kcal. Weekly doctor visits and regular health screenings—including eye, ear, and dental camps—were conducted. We tracked growth through monthly anthropometric measurements (under 5) and quarterly BMI (above 5). SAM and MAM cases were identified and treated. Over 1,750 immunizations were facilitated. Infants, lactating mothers, and pregnant women received Take-Home Rations and ICDS support. Community Outreach Programme: We organized Lokdoot for the community and Chai Pani meeting for the parents - creating awareness on various pivotal topics. Our Saksham programme links the community with the government facilities and other entitlements like BOCWA registration, facilitation of identity documents, etc. | ||||||

| Project Description | At Mumbai Mobile Crèches, we believe that every child has a fundamental right to education, adequate healthcare, and safety. To put this belief into practice, we run child friendly centres for children living on construction sites and from other underprivileged communities. These centres not only keep children out of harm’s but also address their educational and health needs so that they are able to enjoy their childhood in a setting that is safe and supportive. Through the contribution, we supported comprehensive day care programmes for on an average 1731 children living on 19 construction sites, nine brick kilns, two quarry sites and two slums. Our day care centres; • Support the cognitive, emotional and physical development of very young children and build a strong foundation for the enrolment and retention of children in school • Free older children from the burden of childcare and help them enrol and do well in school • Enable parents, especially mothers, to enter and/or stay in the work place while their children are in our care • Provide guidance and support to parents on education, health, nutrition and other relevant social issues | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Impact | We reached over 1, 700 children of age group birth to 14 years every month through day care centres located on construction sites and other marginalised communities. Over 1,700 children received supplementary nutrition (approx 650-700 Kcal every day) such as milk+poha, bananas/ seasonal fruits, cooked nutritious food (variety of khichdi), and rajgira laddu/ lapsi. Over 1000 children were screened through 906 doctor visits Over 900 children were screened through 28 eye camps 33 ear camps and 28 dental camps. 188 children from age group 6 to 14 years were enrolled in schools 188 Over 400 Children every month continued attending schools. Total 2,288 illnesses were identified and treated Total 905 children were screened through 19 eye camps detecting eye problem at an early stage.
