Hello, I am Gunvati Sathi Ms. Lakshmi Karande. I am an employee of Gunvati J. Kapoor foundation since 7 years.

Today through GJK Foundation we are raising donations for creating cancer awareness to women through talks and screening programs for them in the urban slums of Mumbai.

Help Us Save Women from Cancer in Mumbai’s Slums

Dear All,

In Mumbai’s urban slums, thousands of women live with the hidden risk of breast and oral cancers. Most have never been screened, and many only discover the disease when it is already advanced and difficult to treat.

The difference between early detection and late diagnosis is the difference between life and death.

At Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation (GJK Foundation), we are committed to changing this reality through our Cancer Awareness, Screening & Patient Support Program.

What we do

Conduct awareness talks in communities to educate women on early warning signs.

Provide free screenings for breast and oral cancers.

Refer suspected cases for further medical care.

Guide cancer patients and their families.

Our goal for this year

Reach 5000 plus women with awareness and screening.

Support underprivileged patients with the treatment they urgently need.
