About Me
Hi, I am Shailaja and I thank you for visiting this page. I have been a sportsperson since childhood and alongside my annual trekking adventures, I have been participating in the TATA Mumbai Marathon for the last seven years now (2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025). This will be my eight marathon and I need all your encouragement and support for me as well as the NGO, 'TRRAIN' that I am fundraising for.
I am passionate about music, vedanta and teaching and a firm believer of 'doing good' through thought and action.
Appeal

A few lines that I have written to express what each and every student of the "Pankh - Wings of Destiny" program at TRRAIN experiences. They may be born as a Person with Disabilities (PwDs) but their dreams and ambitions are unlimited. As they go through the classroom training by TRRAIN and gain a livelihood opportunity - their life changes and they truly get wings to fly. 11,500 PwD's for livelihoods in the last financial year.
With my seventh marathon this year , I would love if you open your hearts yet again and donate to support the dreams, ambitions and livelihoods of many more such Persons with Disabilities in India.
