About Me

I am a professional in the financial services industry with over 25 years of experience in the fields of audit, finance, corporate / business / transaction advisory and compliance. Currently, I am CFO at HDFC AMC.

I had the privilege of participating in Mumbai Mobile Creches’ outreach at their Wadala centre, where primary education is imparted to kids by a mix of young and experienced teachers. The happy faces, curiosity filled questions and pride in showing off the puppets and other creative projects they made were clear signs of the deep impact, and joy, brought by MMC in this little world of theirs. I also met one of the past students who later on became a teacher and then a centre head. A true example of MMC’s grassroot level impact since it’s formation in mid-1980s.

"Help Create Safe Havens for Migrant Children with Mumbai Mobile Creches" 

Dear All, 

Being associated with Mumbai Mobile Creches, I have witnessed the difficulties faced by the children of migrant workers and other marginalised communities living in challenging conditions. MMC's goal is more critical now than ever - to offer a secure, nurturing, and education focussed environment for these vulnerable children. MMC's vision is a nurturing and happy childhood for all children and its mission is to promote 'child-friendly sites', where all children on construction sites are safe, healthy, educated and are able to enjoy their childhood regardless of their circumstances.

Your donations will directly support MMC's comprehensive day care programmes, reaching over 1,300 children each month across 18 construction sites, 6 brick kilns, 2 stone quarries and 2 slums in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Your generosity will provide hope for a brighter future for these vulnerable children. Together, we can make a difference as these children too deserve a chance at a safe and happy childhood. Your support, no matter the size, will shape a better tomorrow for these children.
