About Me

I, Sushovan Raha, have always enjoyed working as a liaison, bridging gaps and ensuring smooth coordination. Early in my journey, I received opportunities from various trusts to handle liaison work—collating paperwork and submitting it to the concerned authorities. Though the compensation was modest, what truly drove me was my passion for the cause and my desire to support cancer patients and their caregivers.

At GJK Foundation, I channel this passion through the Patient Guidance Program, where I guide and support patients throughout their treatment journey. With the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years, I focus on ensuring that no patient abandons treatment due to confusion, fear, or lack of support.

For nearly a decade, I have been working closely with cancer patients and their families, building strong relationships and earning the trust of both patients and doctors. My rapport with stakeholders and my commitment to patient care have made me an integral part of the OPD team at GJK Foundation.

In Mumbai’s urban slums, thousands of women live with the hidden risk of breast and oral cancers. Most have never been screened, and many only discover the disease when it is already advanced and difficult to treat.
