About Me

Hi, I am Meera Nair, and this year marks my 5th year with Suryoday Trust, where I serve as a Senior Project Manager. Over these years, I have seen how education, therapies, and vocational training can transform the lives of underprivileged children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.

I have been fortunate to witness children speak their first words, young adults master skills they never imagined possible, and many of them step into employment with pride and dignity. Seeing families rediscover hope through these milestones has been the most rewarding part of my journey.

At Suryoday, we are committed to creating pathways of dignity, independence, and inclusion — ensuring that every underprivileged child and young adult we serve has the opportunity not just to learn, but to build a meaningful future.

Appeal

At Suryoday Trust, we have witnessed stories of courage that begin in silence but blossom with hope. For the past 14 years, we have walked alongside underprivileged children and young adults with intellectual disabilities — children who were once overlooked, now laughing in classrooms, discovering their abilities, and dreaming of brighter tomorrows.

That’s why at Suryoday, we go beyond teaching — we provide skill development, vocational training, and pathways to employment, so that each child and young adult can step into society with confidence and purpose.
