United Way Mumbai, along with Bates India and Stree Hitkarini replaced and updated equipment in a clinic's surgical unit, benefiting over 2500 women every year. United Way also published a book "Where There is No Doctor for Women" in Marathi, of which 231copies were distributed to NGOs and health workers in Maharashtra
