Sujaya Foundation, founded in 2002, aims to bridge the linguistic and digital divide in India. Our mission is to provide education and employability skills to the underprivileged by leveraging technology and incorporating the best pedagogical practices at an elementary, as well as advanced level. This is implemented through following projects: The ELP (The Experiential Learning Program) The ELP is a unique Training and Skill Development Model designed to equip the Youth with Disabilities with skill sets leading to ‘aspirational’ employment. Trains youth in computer skills followed by a paid internship before placing them in Corporate Organizations. English Immersion (EI) : Improve spoken English. English Immersion Program provides intensive one month training to college going and working youth. The Program is designed to develop confidence to speak in English. Computer Program: The Computer Program aims to bridge the digital divide and empower under privileged youth with basic and advanced computer skills. Extracurricular activities include sessions on Personality Development, Resume Making, Spoken English, and Career Counselling. Work–Readiness Program: Aims to bridge the digital and linguistic divide to empower under privileged youth with work-readiness skills. Health Program : Designed in collaboration with Dr. Zarir Udwadia, provides free medication to underprivileged TB patients.
