Appeal

Dilkhush is situated in Mumbai (Juhu). Most of the students in the special school are from the neighboring area ( Nehru Nagar and Royal Hotel Slums) The parents of these special children have come to Mumbai looking for better facilities, but reality is far from expectations. The cost of living and education in the city of Mumbai is high and most of the poor don’t receive quality education and therapeutics.
The adults with Intellectual Disability, engage themselves to develop and hone their skills and talents to produce and create various products. With ever-rising costs, it is very difficult to provide raw materials and infrastructure for these projects.
For 50 years, Dilkhush has been serving persons with disabilities. Since the premises is situated near the sea, it is a great challenge to maintain the building. With all these urgent needs we approach our fundraisers and benefactors to support us in providing better rehabilitation facilities and opportunities for persons with Disability.
