Illuminate Change: Radiate the Journeys of Specially Abled Champions!

Ignite brilliance within our Specially Abled adults through your impactful contribution.

Adhar NGO envisions a future where Specially Abled children and aging parents thrive. In these testing times, be a driving force by donating or championing our cause.

Each donation propels daily care, growth, safety, and empowerment of beneficiaries. Expert psychologists nurture resilience in residents and parents.

Your benevolence fuels vocational training, recreation, and rehabilitation. Vibrant children revel, unveiling talents in dance, singing, and artistry.

Project DescriptionAdhar is a Residential Institution providing lifelong Care & Protection, Training, Treatment & rehabilitation to Mentally Challenged Adults for last 29 years. We are taking lifelong care of all types of basic as well as physical, psychological and medical needs of Mentally Challenged Adults by various activities at Adhar. Presently we are taking care of 345 intellectually disabled adults at Adhar Badlapur & Nashik units.
ADHAR operates purely on parents’ contribution & Donations, and it does not receive any government aid or grant. Since inception Adhar is complete physical & psychological relief & financial relief to some extent to all Parents. Typically, every parent contributes approximately 70% of the monthly maintenance cost of their child and balance 30% is raised through donations. Besides this Adhar is also providing additional subsidy to economically needy parents. This results into annual deficit in revenue budget.

The funds raised at every TMM help us bridge the gap of our revenue shortfall which in turn helps our direct beneficiaries - our Adhar's Specially abled friends as well as our indirect beneficiaries - the Parents of our Adhar's Specially Abled Friends.
With the deficit of Rs. 48,000 (Rupees Fourty Eight Thosands) per child per year, the funds raised at TMM2023 of Rs. 55,87,348 (Rupees Fifty Five Lakhs Eighty Seven thousands Three hundreds & Fourty Eight only) helps cover the deficits for 116 children - this is big help for our ADHAR.
