Katalyst India is an award-winning NGO committed to transforming the lives of young women from low-income communities through STEM education. Our flagship four-year undergraduate program empowers high-potential women pursuing technical and professional education, particularly in engineering, to achieve meaningful careers and economic independence. Katalyst provides a holistic support system that goes beyond academics—mentoring, training in leadership and soft skills, access to technology, and exposure to industry. With over 3,500 women impacted and 1,850 currently enrolled, we focus on building confidence, employability, and leadership. As a result, nearly 80% of our students secure placements in reputed corporates, while others pursue higher education and leadership roles.

Recognizing the need for continued support in their professional journeys, Katalyst also runs Alkemist, a uniquely curated multi-level program for early, mid, and late-career women professionals aspiring to senior leadership. Alkemist equips participants to navigate the complexities of the corporate world, fast-track their growth, and become purpose-driven leaders.

Through these interventions, Katalyst nurtures first-generation women professionals from marginalized communities, enabling them not only to break barriers and achieve their aspirations but also to contribute meaningfully to their organizations and society.

Appeal

The funds raised will directly support women professionals enrolled in Alkemist, Katalyst’s leadership and managerial excellence program. These funds will enable us to deliver the following key interventions:

Curated Curriculum: A bespoke curriculum designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by women in the corporate landscape, delivered across three leadership levels—Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Immersive Leadership Residency - An intensive 3-day residential program focused on leadership development, team building, and experiential learning.
Counseling Support: 24x7 professional counseling to ensure holistic well-being and resilience.

Through these interventions, Alkemist equips women from low-income and first-generation backgrounds to navigate the corporate world with confidence, unlock their full potential, and progress into leadership roles. Your support will enable us to empower these women not only to advance their careers but also to contribute meaningfully to their organizations and society.
