Antarang Foundation is a Mumbai-based nonprofit working to bridge the gap between education and employability for India’s most vulnerable youth. Our mission is to ensure that every young person, regardless of background, has the awareness, skills, and access to pursue a career of their choice.

We focus on adolescents from under-resourced schools, often first-generation learners at risk of dropping out due to a lack of guidance and exposure. Through our Comprehensive Career Education Program, we empower students from Grades 9–12 to explore career options, identify their interests and aptitudes, and plan informed transitions into higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, or technical training.

Our work spans five states - Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Haryana, and Goa, reaching thousands of students annually. Programs are delivered directly in classrooms by trained career facilitators who provide experiential learning, counseling, and personalized reports for students and their families.

By equipping young people with clarity and confidence in their future pathways, Antarang reduces dropout rates and supports systemic adoption of career education through partnerships with state governments and schools.

Appeal

Close to 70 million underprivileged adolescents in India are the first in their families to finish school, yet most lack access to career guidance. Without this support, many disengage from education, drop out, or enter low-paying jobs.

Antarang Foundation invites you to partner with us at the Tata Mumbai Marathon to transform this reality. Your contribution will directly fund our Comprehensive Career Education Program for adolescents in government and low-income private schools.

Funds raised will support:

1) Training and capacity-building of career facilitators.
2) Delivery of classroom-based career awareness and planning sessions for Grades 9–12.
3)Individual counseling and career reports for students and parents.
4)Exposure visits, workshops, and mentorship that connect youth with real-world opportunities.

Every INR 10,000 raised enables us to empower 10 students with the clarity, skills, and confidence to plan their careers. This year, we aim to raise INR 20 lakhs to reach 2,000 young people across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Haryana, and Goa.

With your support, these students will graduate with informed aspirations and the ability to pursue careers of their choice.
