Across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), adolescents and youth are shaping the future of their communities. Yet marginalised young people, especially, often face barriers to their growth, and the absence of safe spaces, and opportunities to lead. At YUVA (Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action), we work with young people from marginalised communities to ensure they have the tools, support, and platforms they need to thrive.

Appeal

Our engagement is holistic, focusing on myriad aspects, such as young people’s leadership development, civic awareness, mental well-being and resilience, and building essential life skills. We work with young people, not just for them, encouraging them to co-create solutions for the challenges they face.
From forming youth collectives to amplifying young voices in decision-making spaces, our approach builds confidence, strengthens community bonds, and opens up pathways for a better future.
Join Us
Every step you take with YUVA brings adolescents and youth in Mumbai closer to a future filled with opportunity, dignity, and hope. Whether you run individually, as part of a group, or through your workplace, your effort will create change that lasts well beyond race day.
