World For All Animal Care and Adoptions is a registered non-profit organization founded in 2009, working for the welfare of stray animals in Mumbai. Our mission is to promote peaceful co-existence between humans and animals by uplifting the lives of voiceless street animals through empathy, compassion, and care.
Our work focuses on street dogs and cats through the following key programs:

1. Adoptions (6,800+): World For All began as the first organization focused on the adoption of rescued Indian breed puppies and kittens—primarily orphaned, injured, or found in unsafe areas.

2. Rescues (76,000+): Operating two ambulances since 2013, we provide medical aid, rehabilitation, and long-term care for sick and injured animals across Mumbai.

3. Sterilization (13,300+): We follow a humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) method to ethically control the stray animal population and reduce suffering on the streets.

4. Animal Shelter (450+): Our shelters provide lifelong care to chronically ill, elderly, and disabled animals who are often abandoned or overlooked due to age or deformities.

World For All remains committed to creating a city that is kinder and safer for every animal on its streets.

Appeal

World For All has successfully constructed a dedicated rehabilitation shelter in Karjat, just outside Mumbai, to care for street dogs with permanent disabilities, chronic illnesses, or conditions that make survival on the streets impossible.

We now seek your support to help us operate and sustain this facility.

The shelter has the capacity to care for 350 dogs at any given time—providing food, medical treatment, and lifelong care to animals who have nowhere else to go. It also serves as a crucial hub for handling emergency rescue cases in Mumbai and extends care to neglected animals in rural Maharashtra, where veterinary services are limited.

Funds raised will directly support daily operations including staff salaries, food and nutrition, veterinary supplies, medical treatments, maintenance, and ambulance services.

This shelter is a vital step toward building a compassionate system for the most vulnerable animals—those who are often forgotten. Your contribution will help us give them the safety, dignity, and lifelong care they deserve.

Beneficiary DescriptionThe beneficiaries comprise rescued street dogs who cannot survive independently due to severe medical or physical conditions such as neurological disorders, partial or full paralysis, limb loss, autism, blindness, epilepsy, or other disabilities. This also includes injured and unsterilized street animals requiring urgent care. All have endured significant trauma from accidents, cruelty, or abandonment. Rescued by WFA, they now receive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and lifelong shelter in a safe, dignified environment, ensuring comfort, care, and the love they have never previously experienced.
ImpactThe Canine Rehabilitation Shelter in Karjat has already provided a safe haven for 75 permanently disabled and chronically ill dogs along with 2 birds and 1 snake, offering them lifelong care in a secure and nurturing environment. Additionally, the facility has conducted sterilization camps in and around the Takue area of Karjat, successfully sterilizing over 260 street dogs in and around Karjat, and vaccinating another 340 dogs against rabies and distemper—significantly contributing to population control and disease prevention in the region.
The shelter has also eased the operational burden on World For All’s Mumbai facility by relocating permanent residents to Karjat. This has created additional capacity to admit and treat more emergency cases in the city, thereby enhancing the overall reach and efficiency of rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
