| Project Description | Project overview: Empowering children, youth and women in slum communities with education and positive mental health in suburbs of mumbai since 2007 at no cost. Target geography: Primarily Dahisar and Borivali (suburbs of Mumbai), Other rural and urban communities in India through online programs for college students. It is a multi-age afterschool program supporting children ages 5–21 through five verticals: Beginners, Foundation, Transit, Dream project, and Alumni. The curriculum addresses foundational learning, academic support, emotional wellbeing, and values-based life-skills through interactive methods such as storytelling, group reflection, play-based learning, and mindfulness practices. | ||||||||||||

| Impact | 200+ students attended the project. The project was run in a hybrid mode - combining online and offline sessions. The students are divided in to 4 different learning programs - Beginners, Foundation, Discovery and Dream. They attended 3-5 days a week regular learning sessions of English, Life-skills, Value education. School study support program was run all 7 days a week. The students attended monthly therapeutic workshops and support for individual counselling. The students were provided school kits and educational resources. A special mental health support program was run for the mothers of the students on a monthly basis. | |||||||||
