Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal (SSM), established in 1959, is dedicated to the holistic development of rural communities. Our mission is to foster educated, prosperous, and sustainable rural societies through impactful interventions in Education, Skill & Livelihood, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Management (NRM).

Rooted in rural culture and guided by innovation, SSM’s approach balances tradition with progress. In education, we align with NEP 2020, offering diverse learning opportunities and holistic development. The Udyamita Skill Development Centre addresses skill gaps among rural youth through need-based and practical programs that build technical and workplace competencies.

Through our Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), we enhance agricultural productivity, profitability, and sustainability. Our NRM initiatives—including watershed development, afforestation, and rainwater harvesting—have transformed drought-prone landscapes, ensuring water security and promoting climate-resilient farming practices.

Situated on a 200-acre campus amidst the Balaghat Hills and the Manjira River in Sagroli (Dist.. Nanded), SSM continues to integrate innovation, participation, and ecological stewardship. In partnership with communities and stakeholders, we strive to create a resilient rural ecosystem where individuals thrive, livelihoods flourish, and sustainable development becomes a shared reality.

Fund Utilization in 2023

Total funds raised in 2023 - INR 70250
Project NameGirl Child Empowerment
Amount Utilized (INR)70250
Project DescriptionThe Girls, who are either orphaned, single-parented, or hail from families who find it difficult even to fulfil their basic needs, are usually ignored for their education and are forced to sit idle at home or face worse situations even today. We have been running a shelter home called 'Anand Balgram' since 1974, providing a safe haven for girl children who have faced unimaginable hardships, including being orphaned, single-parented, or coming from families of suicidal individuals, as well as those affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past, we relied on government schemes to support this initiative. However, since 2016, we have adopted a new approach. We now ask the parents/guardians of these underprivileged children to contribute what they can afford while the remaining costs are raised through our sponsorship programs. By sharing financial responsibility, we empower families to be actively involved in their children's education and development.
