Sahasee Embers Charitable Trust, based in Mumbai and Thane, Maharashtra, is dedicated to restoring dignity and empowering survivors of sex trafficking, vulnerable women, children, and visually challenged individuals. Since 2024, we have been working primarily in Turbhe, Vangani, Karjat, and surrounding high-risk communities, including red-light areas and slum settlements.

Our mission is to Restore, Empower, Protect, and Educate, creating opportunities for those trapped in cycles of exploitation, poverty, and social marginalization. We operate rehabilitation and transition homes, provide vocational training in tailoring, handicrafts, candle-making, beauty care, and digital skills, and support children excluded from mainstream education through school and college sponsorships.

We also offer trauma-informed counseling, healthcare, ration distribution, and awareness campaigns to address immediate needs while promoting long-term social reintegration. By equipping beneficiaries with skills, psychosocial support, and livelihood opportunities, we aim to reduce begging, prevent re-trafficking, and foster resilience, independence, and financial security.

Through strategic partnerships with corporates, NGOs, and government agencies, we expand our reach and impact, transforming vulnerable lives into empowered, dignified, and self-reliant futures. Our interventions directly benefit over 450 individuals and positively impact thousands more in the surrounding communities

Sahasee Embers Charitable Trust seeks your generous support to implement “From Darkness to Dignity & New Beginnings”, a project aimed at empowering survivors of sex trafficking and visually challenged individuals in Turbhe, Vangani, Karjat, and surrounding communities in Maharashtra.

The funds raised will be utilized in a transparent and impactful manner:

Vocational Training & Microenterprise Support – Conduct skill-building programs in tailoring, candle-making, handicrafts, beauty care, and digital literacy, and provide start-up kits to establish sustainable livelihoods.

Education Support – Sponsor 80 children in schools and colleges, provide digital learning aids, and remedial education for excluded children.

Safe Shelter & Transition Homes – Operate two rehabilitation homes offering secure accommodation, life-skills training, and psychosocial support for 30 survivors.

Counseling & Healthcare – Provide trauma-informed therapy, family counseling workshops, regular medical checkups, and essential medicines.

Ration & Essentials – Distribute food, groceries, and hygiene kits to over 300 vulnerable individuals.

Awareness & Advocacy – Conduct community workshops, exhibitions, and campaigns promoting dignity, inclusion, and prevention of exploitation.

Monitoring & Evaluation – Conduct surveys, progress reports, and third-party audits to ensure transparency and accountability.
