Established in 2003 under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, Vasundhara Foundation is dedicated to fostering sustainable livelihoods in rural and semi-rural India through capacity building and handholding support for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), village institutions, and GO-NGO-CSR collaborations. Our multidisciplinary team drives strategic interventions to strengthen development outcomes.
Since 2015-16, we have impacted 57 villages across Surendranagar, Patan, Ahmedabad, and Narmada districts of Gujarat. Key initiatives include Village Child Protection Society (VCPS) formation (2016-18, Patan), supported by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, and community empowerment programs in Radhanpur, Bechraji, and Mandal blocks (2019-20). In partnership with Reliance Foundation, we facilitate participatory village development plans and climate-resilient farming, benefiting over 5,000 farmers in Patan and Rajkot since 2022.
Our “STEM for Girls” program, launched in 2020 with IBM CSR and QUEST Alliance, promotes STEM education for 7,000 girls across 24 schools in five districts. Additionally, since 2022, we collaborate with South Asia Cotton Connect on regenerative agriculture and women’s climate leadership in Narmada’s tribal communities. In 2025, Cotton Connect Farmer Community Foundation supported cancer health camps & daycare centers for ginning mill workers’ children.

JUGNOO BIO RESOURCE CENTER (JBRC) is an unique concept to promote climate resilient agriculture and provide input support systems that could help in resolving issue of accessibility to natural farm inputs. “JBRC” as a single stop shop for sustainable agriculture input needs will not only help farmers to learn but also adopt these technologies in their farm to sustain their livelihood and to make it professionally viable and profitable. JBRC where time tested, locally prepared Inputs/formulations utilizing biological entities or biologically derived inputs useful for improving soil health, crop growth, pest or disease management are made available for demonstrate as well as adopt by farmers in a defined geographical area.
JBRC will….
1. Facilitate cross-learning opportunities to farmers who are involved with agriculture through providing a platform for interactive sessions engaging farmers, women farmers, young students, subject matter experts and experienced/ knowledgeable farmers.
2.Will provide sustainable agriculture inputs for purpose of demonstration by farmers based on no profit no loss bases price.
The guideline for the Bio Resource center will be followed by various sources like, National Coalition for Natural Farming(NCNF), NABARD, Agriculture University, Department of Agriculture etc. Vasundhara Foundation will facilitate the process of establishing the JBRC.
