Our awareness program focuses on sustainable menstruation by promoting the use of menstrual cups, an eco-friendly alternative that significantly reduces waste. In India, menstrual waste is a significant environmental concern, with estimates suggesting that around 12 billion sanitary napkins are disposed of each year. This equates to approximately 113,000 tons of waste annually. Most of these products are made from non-biodegradable materials, including plastics and synthetic fibers, which can take hundreds of years to decompose menstrual contributing to environmental pollution, and many of these items are non-biodegradable.

Our program provides workshops, distributes menstrual cups, and raises awareness about menstrual hygiene practices. This not only empowers women to manage their periods more effectively but also promotes environmental sustainability by reducing plastic waste.
