Orjet Foundation is a Ahmedabad-based non-profit organization dedicated to creating inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for Deaf and underrepresented communities across India. Established with the mission to bridge critical educational and communication gaps, the foundation provides accessible, high-quality online and in-person education tailored to the needs of Deaf children and adults.

Our core interventions focus on education, skill development, and financial literacy. We offer academic support, extracurricular learning, and digital literacy programs to over 150 students nationwide. Recognizing that sign language is the mother tongue of the Deaf community, all our sessions are conducted in Indian Sign Language (ISL) to ensure clarity, inclusion, and meaningful engagement.

Over the past four years, Orjet Foundation has also led specialized financial literacy workshops for the Deaf community, addressing a significant gap where nearly 95% lack access to proper financial education. These programs empower individuals with essential knowledge in savings, investments, insurance, and financial planning.

Through collaborations with NGOs, educational institutions, and community organizations, Orjet Foundation continues to work toward a future where Deaf individuals have equal access to education, economic opportunities, and independence. Our vision is to build a society where inclusivity is a right, not a privilege.
