Smit Old Age Home and Care Foundation is a NGO organization dedicated to restoring dignity, care, and belonging to society’s most vulnerable, destitute senior citizens, orphans, mentally unstable individuals, morally broken, and missing persons. Founded by Yojana Gharat, Smit operates as a safe haven where abandoned lives find compassion, rehabilitation, and a chance to rebuild.

Our mission is to ensure that no one is left uncared for, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. Through our residential facilities, we provide shelter, medical support, counselling, and a family-like environment that fosters emotional and social healing. Smit’s interventions extend beyond caregiving, we actively collaborate with government bodies, police departments, and social organizations to rescue and reunite missing or homeless individuals with their families whenever possible.
