CIM Trust was founded by Dr. Rathna Kumar & Smt. Sharda in Dec 2019 with the sole aim to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty through education. The power of education shapes the future. CIM Trust believes that when educated adults engage and empower children through learning, it unlocks their unique potential. Every child, especially first-generation learners, deserves a chance to dream big and carve their path. Our Flagship Program called After School program helps bridging this gap. Children gain a perspective on what’s possible when opportunity meets potential. Till date we’ve impacted 5000+ direct beneficiaries.
We serve the migrant communities in North Bengaluru. Majority of the parents of Govt. school children are working in the unorganized sectors with long hours of daily work (12-14 Hours). Keeping poor learning outcomes at Govt. Schools and the limitations of parents of these children in mind, we designed the After-School Program (hereafter ASP). Our ASP helps children from Migrant families to get academic support, mentorship, participate in extra curricular activities, educational trips, various competitions, Brain boosting activities for the holistic development of children. ASP provides homework help, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities to improve student’s learning outcomes. Fostering essential numeracy and literacy skills, life skills like leadership, teamwork and communication through activities like public speaking exercises, competitions and so on.
