Govardhan Skill Centre (GSC) is a dedicated initiative of Sri Nityanand Educational Trust, located at Wada near Govardhan Eco Village. Established with the vision of empowering tribal and rural youth, especially women, GSC provides holistic skill development opportunities that bridge the gap between education and employability.

We offer a wide range of short-term and long-term vocational courses such as tailoring, beauty services, computer training, basic technology, electrical technician, welding, and hospitality, among others. Each program is designed in consultation with industry partners to ensure that training is practical, market-relevant, and linked with livelihood opportunities. Alongside technical training, we emphasize personality development, digital literacy, values education, and life skills, enabling students to grow in confidence and adaptability.

Our interventions focus on women’s empowerment, youth employability, and community development. GSC has trained thousands of students, many of whom are now gainfully employed or self-reliant entrepreneurs. We also support women-led microenterprises and undertake production projects that create local employment.

By integrating skills with values and providing structured placement support, Govardhan Skill Centre continues to transform lives, uplift families, and contribute to sustainable rural development in Palghar district and beyond.
