Rushabh Foundation is a Mumbai-based nonprofit organisation working since 2005 with a mission to uplift underserved and tribal communities through holistic interventions in Education, Health, Environment, Livelihood, and Advocacy, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In the education sector, Rushabh Foundation focuses on increasing access, retention, and quality learning outcomes for children in tribal and rural areas. Our interventions include:
Establishing digital classrooms and toy libraries to enhance engagement in early learning.
Supporting school infrastructure development including classrooms, sanitation, and beautification to create child-friendly environments.
Running sports and yoga programs to boost physical well-being and school attendance.
Providing scholarships and academic handholding for underprivileged students to pursue higher education.
Organizing career guidance and capacity-building sessions for adolescents to help them make informed life choices.
Facilitating teacher training and developing contextual learning aids for improved pedagogy.
Rushabh Foundation’s education initiatives have positively impacted over 200 villages and 73 government schools in Maharashtra, particularly in Palghar district. With a strong community presence and long-term commitment, the foundation continues to work toward an inclusive and empowering education ecosystem for every child.
Appeal
We are firmly committed to utilising the funds raised through the Tata Mumbai Marathon for the establishment of offline digital classrooms in the Zilla Parishad schools of Talasari & Dahanu Block of palghar district, with a special emphasis on tribal children. This project aligns perfectly with our vision to bridge educational gaps, especially in underprivileged and tribal communities, through innovative solutions.
