Amount Utilized (INR) | 3477251
Project Description | Rubaroo strives to reduce instances of Child Sexual Abuse in our society. Given what a rampant yet taboo issue this is, we work towards building awareness on and sensitivity towards the issue amongst adult stakeholders. Our prevention programmes aim to empower children with age-appropriate knowledge about their bodies, to help them understand personal safety in a holistic manner, to recognise sexual abuse and to report the same. Through our interventions across schools, institutions and communities, we hope to build a safety net around children to prevent victimization. Rubaroo also has an in-house team of highly trained, trauma informed counsellors who help survivors overcome the impacts of sexual abuse.
