Dhaval Mehta

Raised funds for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care
Change Legend 2020

As the Trustee of Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Trust and Coordinator of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, Dhaval Mehta shaped over 75 high-impact projects which touched over 53.50 lakh lives. Over 17 years, he offered 75,000 hours of selfless service to Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur & Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. This campaign was a tribute to the memory of Mehta, who passed away in a road accident on December 3rd, 2019 on his way to completing an educational service project. Raising over a staggering INR 2.43 crore, he became the highest individual fundraiser at the Mumbai Marathon since its inception in year 2004.

V. S. Parthasarathy

Raised funds for K.C. Mahindra Education Trust - Project Nanhi Kali

V. S. Parthasarathy's role as Group CFO & CIO of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is rife with opportunities for contributing to Mahindra's aspiration of being amongst the Top 50 most admired brands in the world. He straddles diverse responsibilities, including Directorships of various companies with equal dedication and tirelessly reimagines his leadership roles at the CFO Board, BCCI, FICCI, AFPI, etc. Mr. Parthasarathy has been raising funds for the past 4 years and has raised over 4.48 crore for K.C. Mahindra Education Trust - Project Nanhi Kali. Through his participation and fundraising in the TMM, he aims to provide quality education to underprivileged girls in India. In 2019, he raised close to INR 1.39 crore, shattering all previous records and becoming the highest fundraising individual in the history of the Mumbai Marathon. At TMM 2020, he surpassed his own record and raised over INR 2.25 crore.

Villy Doctor

Raised funds for Light of Life Trust

Villy Doctor is an educationalist and philanthropist who has dedicated her life to uplifting the disadvantaged through the Light of Life Trust (LOLT), of which she is the Founder and Managing Trustee. LOLT was established with a vision to alleviate poverty by developing rural, underprivileged communities through a holistic approach to education, empowerment and employability. Now in her ninth year of fundraising, the TMM 2025 campaign saw her once again surpass the INR 1 crore milestone—securing the Change Legend title for the fourth consecutive year. Her unwavering commitment continues to transform lives across rural India.

K.V. S. Manian

Raised funds for Cancer Patients Aids Association
Change Legend 2019 and 2020

K V S Manian has been with the Kotak Mahindra Group for 25 years and has been instrumental in setting up and metamorphosing its many business divisions into success stories. He has been the President, Consumer Banking and is currently President, Corporate, Institutional & Investment Banking. He also oversees the Institutional Equalities business and is part of the Bank's Executive Board, overseeing the firm's growth charter. He has been raising funds for the past 7 years and in 2019, he raised INR 1.35 crore, breaking all his previous personal records of fundraising. In 2020, he raised an equally admirable INR 1.13 crore.

Sadashiv S. Rao

Raised funds for Isha Vidhya
Change Legend 2020, 2021-2022, 2023 and 2025

Sadashiv S. Rao is a seasoned professional with 38 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, and advisory services. He served as the founding CEO of NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited (NIIF IFL) and currently sits on the Board of Yes Bank as an independent director. For more than 12 editions of the Tata Mumbai Marathon, he has run the half marathon to raise funds for Isha Education, raising more than INR 7.8 crores over the years to the cause. He has also sponsored the construction of classrooms in five Isha schools in his parents’ name. In the 2025 edition, he raised INR 1.18 crore—earning the Change Legend title for the third time—and during the Special Covid Fundraiser, he contributed INR 1.01 crore, making him one of the top three fundraisers in the event’s history.

Sankara Raman

Raised funds for Amar Seva Sangam
Change Legend 2018 & 2019

Sankara Raman is a Chartered Accountant and philanthropist. He has been participating in the Champions with Disability run for the past 13 years and has cumulatively raised over 7.69 crore for Amar Seva Sangam. Affected by Muscular Dystrophy, himself; he aims to make Amar Seva Sangam a forerunner in disability management. He introduced many bold and innovative programmes, benefitting over 16,000 differently-abled individuals from over 900 villages in the 3 districts of Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Virudhunagar. In both, 2018 & 2019 he achieved the Change Legend status by raising INR 1.32 & 1.01 crore respectively.

Sanjeev Shah

Change Legend 2019

Sanjeev Shah handles M&A and Corporate Strategy at the Times of India Group and has spent 10+ years at TOI. Before this, he was with the Kotak Mahindra Group for 16 years. As someone who opposes social disparities, Mr. Shah has responded selectively to friendly calls for support. His son, Dhruv had inspired him to create permanent change by prioritizing philanthropic initiatives in favour of tribal welfare. He believes that tribal children have simple expectations: a set of books, writing materials and a school to go to. He also feels that animals are neglected in these communities. In 2019, he raised INR 1 crore in support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

Abhay Jasani

Abhay Jasani, 73, is a graduate from IIT and the Chairman of Jasani Group, one of the leading exporters of diamonds and diamond jewellery. A dynamic personality, yet humble in his demeanour, he is the president of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur. He has been a regular high fundraiser at the Mumbai Marathon, raising over INR 2.6 crore over the last 8 years. In 2019, he raised INR 1 crore in support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

Mihir Doshi

Raised funds for United Way Mumbai, Jai Vakeel Foundation & Research Centre, Save the Children India
Change Legend 2017

Mihir Doshi has been instrumental in establishing Credit Suisse's India franchise and has been deeply involved in strengthening the overall business profile of the bank in India and in providing its strategic direction. He is also involved in Credit Suisse's human capital and corporate responsibility initiatives and is a member of the Asia Pacific Philanthropy committee. He also serves on the Boards of United Way Mumbai and Teach for India. In addition, he is a Trustee of Save the Children India and a Member on the Janaagraha Governing Board. Mr. Doshi is extremely committed to the cause of child welfare and supports initiatives to ensure that they have the opportunities they need, for a healthy childhood and good education. Between 2008 and 2016, Mr. Doshi raised 1.77 crores for projects impacting children in need. In 2017, at the Mumbai Marathon, he raised a whopping 1.3 crore for 3 NGOs.

Gagan Banga is a distinguished business leader and social activist, renowned for his successful tenure as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (IBHFL) since 2014. Prior to this, he served as CEO of Indiabulls Financial Services Ltd, and continued in that role at IBHFL following the reverse merger. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gagan is a dedicated philanthropist with long-standing involvement in the OSCAR Foundation, working tirelessly for underprivileged children. Together with his daughter Navya Banga, he led a hugely successful TMM 2023 campaign—raising INR 1.13 crore to become the edition’s top fundraiser. In TMM 2025, Gagan once again surpassed the INR 1 crore mark, earning the Change Legend title for this year as well. His unwavering dedication to social responsibility continues to make a meaningful impact.

Dr. Bijal Mehta

Dr. Bijal Mehta, an ophthalmologist and Trustee of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, has been a dedicated fundraiser since her days as a medical student. She firmly believes that the spirit of giving knows no boundaries and remains deeply involved in seva while overseeing the organisation’s work. Over the past 12 years, Dr. Bijal has leveraged the TMM platform to raise significant funds—an impressive INR 4 crore in 2024, which earned her the Change Legend title. She upheld that distinction in TMM 2025 by raising over INR 3 crore, and her unwavering commitment to the cause continues to inspire.

Manisha Khemlani

Central Chinmaya Mission Trust
Change Legend 2023 and 2024

Manisha Khemlani is a Trustee of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth and has been CEO of the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) since 2016. A qualified physiotherapist specialising in neuro physiotherapy, she joined the Chinmaya Mission in 1984 and began working full-time in 2000 at the Chinmaya Organisation for Rural Development (CORD). She is a dedicated advocate of education and women's empowerment. At TMM 2023, she made her first appearance and raised INR 1.03 crore, becoming the 3rd highest fundraiser of the event and earning recognition as a Change Legend. The TMM 2024 marked her second participation, during which she became the highest-ever individual fundraiser, raising an impressive INR 9 crore.

Shyam Jasani

Change Legend 2023, 2024 and 2025

Shyam Jasani is an entrepreneur based in Mumbai and the Director of Jasani Group, a prominent global organisation in the gems and jewellery industry. Following in the footsteps of his father, Mr. Abhay Jasani—a former TMM Change Legend—Shyam made his fundraising debut at TMM 2023, raising INR 1 crore in support of the Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, a multi-speciality hospital serving rural communities in South Gujarat. He advanced this remarkable journey at TMM 2024 by raising INR 4 crore, and in TMM 2025 he once again surpassed the INR 1 crore mark, retaining the Change Legend title for a third consecutive year. His commitment to giving back is both inspiring and impactful.

Darshini

Central Chinmaya Mission Trust
Change Legend 2024

Darshini, Executive Assistant to the CEO of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT), has been associated with Chinmaya Mission for over a decade. This was her second time participating as an individual fundraiser for CCMT at TMM. In TMM 2024, she raised an impressive INR 4 crore, earning the title of TMM Change Legend. Darshini firmly believes that value-based, future-proof education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty, creating sustainable livelihoods, and shaping responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Meera Mehta

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care
Change Legend 2024 and 2025

Meera Mehta, a medical student specializing in Ophthalmology at DY Patil Medical College, began her fundraising journey in 2012—now marking 13 years of support for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, inspired by her parents. Over the years, she has earned the title of Highest Fundraiser in the Young Leader Category multiple times. In TMM 2024, Meera became a Change Legend by raising INR 1 crore, and she upheld that distinction at TMM 2025 by once again surpassing the INR 1 crore milestone. She believes opportunities are abundant, and one should never hesitate to ask for support. Even if some refuse, persistence with passion and love will help achieve targets. Meera is committed to continuing her fundraising efforts to help those in need.

Sunit Kothari

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care
Change Legend 2024 and 2025

Sunit Kothari, Director at Diatrends Jewellery and a philanthropist, began his fundraising journey in 2015 for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. He has been raising funds through the TMM for the past decade. In 2024, his tenth year, he raised an impressive INR 1 crore, earning the title of TMM Change Legend. At TMM 2025, he once again demonstrated his commitment by raising over INR 1 crore and continued to be a Change Legend for the second consecutive year. Sunit believes that passion and conviction naturally resonate with others, inspiring them to contribute when one wholeheartedly believes in their cause.

Utppal Mehta

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care
Change Legend 2024 and 2025

Utppal Mehta, Director at La Jayems Jewellery Ltd., raised funds for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC) for the first time at TMM 2024, earning the title of TMM Change Legend. He continued this momentum at TMM 2025—raising over INR 1 crore once again and retaining his Change Legend status. Utppal’s motivation to raise funds is driven by visionary leadership and the tangible impact embodied by SRLC. He believes that genuine connections and relationships are the foundation of successful fundraising. Through heartfelt conversations, fundraisers inspire others to join the noble cause and make a difference in the world. When connecting with donors, it is essential to address their concerns and ensure transparency regarding how their contributions will be utilised. This approach helps donors connect with the cause and the beneficiaries, ensuring the campaign’s success.

Ajay H Mehta

ADHAR
Change Legend 2025

Ajay Mehta is the Founder & Mentor of Me-Hin Tech Edge Solutions and a full-time Trustee of ADHAR, an NGO committed to the lifelong care of intellectually disabled adults—offering a safe, nurturing home to residents ranging in age from 18 to 82 years. Since beginning his fundraising journey in 2019, Ajay has remained steadfast in his mission, firmly believing that there is no shame in asking for support when it’s for a meaningful cause. Over the past six years, he has raised over INR 1.3 crore in support of ADHAR. His TMM 2025 campaign was a milestone effort, helping him cross the INR 1 crore mark in a single year and earning him the prestigious Change Legend title.

Vipul Shah

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care
Change Legend 2024

Vipul Shah, an Independent Director on the boards of Deepak Nitrite Ltd and Supreme Industries Ltd, has been associated with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care for nearly nine years. Actively involved in seva, he raised an impressive INR 1 crore at TMM 2024, aiming to support the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Hospital. The hospital, alongside the veterinary college, will provide shelter and care for thousands of animals while serving as an educational space to foster compassion and kindness in children. Vipul believes that successful fundraising requires a three-pronged approach: setting clear goals, leveraging technology, and investing personal effort or “sweat equity.”

Rajkumar Jain

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care

Rajkumar Jain, a Director at Anemos & BSPL, participated in fundraising at TMM for the first time in 2024, raising INR 1 crore to support Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. He found the experience humbling and challenging, teaching him valuable lessons in handling rejection while remaining resilient and positive. Rajkumar believes that fundraising also offers personal growth opportunities. The overwhelming support for this year’s cause, the Animal Hospital, highlights the inherent kindness and generosity of donors worldwide.
