The Foundation, along with the HEAL Foundation works to eliminate child sexual abuse in India. Child sexual abuse is an issue rampant in India. It scars and destroys lives every day. The worst part about it is that the victims don't even know that they are victims. And it really disheartens me knowing that if only they had the knowledge that what is happening to them is wrong, maybe they wouldn't be called victims. I started volunteering with Toybank a few months ago. We go to the Colaba Municipal School and have "play sessions" with the children. We teach them how to play board games and puzzles. Toybank believes that play enables these children to develop emotionally. It provides them with the mental strength to face the hardships in their lives. I am raising funds to help these children who are faced with such difficult problems so early on in their lives. Please help the cause by donating– it will surely make a difference in someone's life!
