As per a study, 53.2 % of children in India have experienced one or more forms of sexual abuse. This makes India home to one of the largest population of sexually abused children. I sincerely believe that child sex abuse is a public health problem which can be prevented and challenges us to create a society that no longer tolerates such abuse.
About Me
My name is Jai Bhambhani and I am currently a tenth standard student in Cathedral and John Connon School. I am trying to raise funds for children who have been sexually abused. I want to raise money for HEAL, a NGO started by Rahul Bose by participating in the marathon. I want to make a difference in the lives of all those children in India who have to endure abuse and recuperate from the trauma faced by them. I hope to receive support for this noble cause.
