The Foundation believes that in the long run, disadvantaged parts of the world can only be economically and socially uplifted by the inhabitants of the region itself i.e people that are ancestrally and culturally linked to the land.
In order to fulfil this belief, the Foundation has decided to work in some parts of India, such as The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur. From such areas with below average developmental indices, students are selected and given the best education India has to offer. At some of the most prestigious institutions of India such as Rishi Valley School, St, Xaviers College, Mumbai, Sophia College, Mumbai, Sahyadri School, Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore among others. After 15 to 17 years, these students assume the role of thought leaders and change makers and help in creating and contributing to the wisest and most sustainable development in their homelands.
This initiative is termed REACH i.e Restoring Equality through Education and Advancement of Children.
All our funds are utilised in making payments related to school/college fees, boarding and other academic expenses, child development costs which include workshops and other personal/professional development expenses, mentoring costs for their educational, emotional and psychological needs and travel expenses.
