The Foundation aims at fighting against sexual abuse- a cause I vehemently support. Sexual abuse has a psychological impact on the victim, regardless of age. However, this impact is accentuated in children as they are in their formative years- the most important period of their lives. The abuse causes them to become withdrawn from life and ambitions. They underperform in school and extra-curriculars, which results in them underperforming later in life. Toybank Foundation aims at building necessary skills such as collaboration, hard work, ethics and mathematical skills in underprivileged children through the means of all sorts of games. This, in my opinion, is a unique approach to helping underprivileged children become empowered citizens of the world. I personally volunteer at this charity, and hence am confident in the good that it does.
